Damian Richmond has set a new trans-Australia record from Perth to Melbourne to raise funds for an African orphan project.

Damian left the Perth GPO on Saturday October 18th 2008 at 9am Perth time (12 noon Melbourne time) and arrived at the Melbourne GPO on Monday October 27th 2008 at 7.29pm to set a new record of 9 days, 7 hours, 29 minutes and 32 seconds.
